„Design of modern rotating tools“ deals with the design of non-standard rotary tools which are sub-machining systems and a very influential element in achieving accuracy and surface quality of the treated part as well as its productivity. Book is written on an appropriate professional and scientific level, matter is very well selected and arranged by chapters, the reader is gradually introduced into all field, and all chapters have similar methodological issues. It stems from a long lasting institutional cooperation of the Faculty of Engineering, „Lucian Blaga“ University of Sibiu, Romania and the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad, Serbia. The textbook is intended to be used by students of production engineering, for study programmes and subjects that involve production technologies, tools design and machine tools. Dr Ljubodrag Tanović, Full Professor, Mechanical Faculty, Belgrade
The book „Design of modern rotating tools“ presents relevant information related to the design of non-standard rotary cutting tools. These are important in production processes in terms of increased productivity and quality of the products. Cutting tools that are presented in this book are: step drills, deep hole drills, backed off milling cutters and side and face mills with changeable inserts. This textbook is a result of the scientific and technical collaboration between the Faculty of Engineering , „ Lucian Blaga“ University of Sibiu, Romania and the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad, Serbia.
