Dr Vladimir Mandić je rođen 17.10.1978. godine u Novom Sadu, Srbija. Integrisane akadameske studije na Fakultetu Tehničkih Nauka završio je 2002. i stekao zvanje diplomirani inženjer elekrtotehnike i računarstva-master. Doktroske studije je upisao na Univerzitetu u Oulu, Finska 2008. godine, gde je i doktorirao 2012. godine iz oblasti nauke o obradi informacija i softverskog inženjerstva. Izvodio je nastavu na predmetima: Projektovanje baza podataka, Sistemi baza podataka, Obezbeđenje kvaliteta softverskih proizvoda, Empirijsko softversko inženjerstvo, Osnove testiranja softvera, Upravljanje razvojem informacionih sistema, Automatizacija procesa poslovanja, Osnove računarskih tehnologija i dr. Autor je preko 50 naučnih radova u časopisima i stručnim konferencijama. Član je IEEE udruženja od 2009. godine. Do sada je bio član programskog odbora na više međunarodnih konferencija. Učestvovao je na 3 međunarodna istraživačka projekt i na preko 50 komercijalnih projekata sa industrijom.
