Rođen sam 8. 12. 1970. godine u mestu Šabac, opština Šabac, Republika Srbija. Osnovnu školu sam završio u Šapcu. Četvrti stepen stručne spreme stekao sam 1989. godine u gimnaziji Vera Blagojević u Šapcu. Fakultet tehničkih nauka u Novom Sadu, elektrotehnički odsek, upisao sam 1989. godine. Diplomirao sam septembra 1994. godine na smeru elektroenergetika pomenutog fakulteta sa prosečnom ocenom postignutom u toku studija 9,09. Diplomski rad pod nazivom "Metode regulacije faznog stava struje u pogonu sinhronog motora sa permanentnim magnetima" odbranio sam 12. 9. 1994. godine sa ocenom 10 (deset). Postdiplomske studije sam upisao novembra 1994. godine na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu u Beogradu, smer Energetski pretvarači i pogoni. Sve ispite predviđene nastavnim planom položio sam zaključno sa junom 1996. Prosečna ocena je 10,00. Januara 1996. na istom fakultetu odobrena mi je tema za magistarki rad pod nazivom “Analiza efekta mrtvog vremena na stabilnost frekventno regulisanog elektromotornog pogona sa asinhronim motorom”. Magistarski rad sam odbranio 23. 11. 1996. Doktorsku disertaciju pod nazivom “Upravljanje asinhronim motorom bez davača brzine” odbranio sam na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu u Beogradu 13. 03. 2001. Po završetku redovnih studija zaposlio sam se na Institutu za energetiku i elektroniku Fakulteta tehničkih nauka u Novom Sadu kao asistent pripravnik na određeno vreme. Pored držanja vežbi iz predmeta “Teorija električnih mašina” i “Osnovi elektroenergetike” na elektrotehničkom odseku i “Električnih mašina” na mašinskom i na saobraćajnom odseku radio sam na republičkom projektu. Sada sam zaposlen na Fakultetu tehničkih nauka u Novom Sadu kao docent na katedri za Energetsku elektroniku i pretvarače.
