Rođena u Novom Sadu, 1968. godine. Završila Prirodno-matematičku gimnaziju «Jovan Jovanović Zmaj», matematički smer, 1987.godine sa odličnim uspehom, i iste godine upisala sa na Prirodno-matematički fakultet Univerziteta u Novom Sadu, Odsek za matematiku, smer Numerička matematika i kibernetika. Diplomirala 1992. godine, sa prosečnom ocenom 8.97. Iste godine upisala se na magistarske studije na Prirodno-matematičkom fakultetu Univerziteta u Novom Sadu, Odsek za matematiku, smer Diskretna matematika i programiranje. Završila studije sa prosecnom ocenom 10.00 i odbranila magistarsku tezu pod naslovom ”Digitalni objekti: karakterizacija pomoću diskretnih momenata” 1998. godine. Upisala se na doktorske studije na Swedish University for Agricultural Science/Uppsala University, Centre for Image Analysis, Uppsala, <\eng> Švedska, 2001.godine, i 2005. godine odbranila doktorsku tezu pod naslovom "On Analysis of Discrete Spatial Fuzzy Sets in 2 and 3 Dimensions" <\eng>. Zaposlena na Fakultetu tehničkih nauka Univerziteta u Novom Sadu, Odsek za osnovne discipline u tehnici, Institut za matematiku, od 1992.godine. U zvanje docenta Univerziteta u Novom Sadu, Fakulteta tehničkih nauka, izabrana je u oktobru 2006. godine, a u zvanje vanrednog profesora istog fakulteta 2011. godine. Autor je ili koautor oko četrdeset naučnih radova, objavljenih u domaćim i međunarodnim časopisima, u oblasti: Diskretna matematika, digitalna geometrija, računarska obrada slike. Učestvovala (izlagala) na oko dvadeset međunarodnih konferencija. Učesnik je na domaćim i međunarodnim naučnim projektima. Recenzent je za nekoliko stručnih međunarodnih časopisa, i član uređivačkog odbora međunarodnog naučnog časopisa Pattern Recognitio Letters . Dobitnik je nagrade Benzelius <\eng> za oblast matematike i fizike, za 2007.godinu, koju dodeljuje Royal Society of Sciences, Uppsala, Sweden <\eng>, za naučno -istraživački rad.
