Course is active from 14.12.2018.. Acquiring of basic knowledge on the most common systems for control and supervision. Introduction to the main system elements and their functionality. Acquiring the knowledge on the programming possibilities for of individual system parts and their integration in the information system. Presentation of the key safety procedures for operational safety inenergy sector. The knowledge on the mostly used and contemporary solutions for control and supervision in the electrical engineering systems. Based on that knowledge, students will be capable of creating, integrating and maintaining different control and supervision systems in the electrical power engineering. Knowledge of the key safety procedures for operational safety in energy sector. Basic terminology in system control: definitions, general structures, application examples. The architecture of the supervisory and control systems: system components, multi-layer hierarchy of supervision and individual link control. Control devices: relays, electronic, microprocessor and computer devices. SCADA systems. Maintenance in the objects for electrical energy generation. Gerenal, organizational and technical procedures and measures for safe operation in electrical engineering systems. Lectures, auditory and laboratory exercises.
