Personnel structure
In the first academic year 1960/61, the Faculty started working with seven (two full-time and 5 part-time) teachers and 17 assistants, organized in 11 Chairs, while nowadays (by the end of 2013) there are 1100 full-time employees at the Faculty, where 850 are participants in the lecturing process and 250 are not lecturing staff. Teachers At the Faculty of Technical Sciences, there are 378 people employed in the lecturing process (105 full professors, 76 associate professors, 166 assistant professors, 3 senior lecturers, and 28 lecturers). Assistants 1. Lecturing assistants At the Faculty of Technical Sciences, there are 299 employed assistants (259 assistants with M.Sc. and 40 lecturing assistants). 2. Research assistant and project assistants At the Faculty of Technical Sciences, there are 176 employed assistants in researching and non-lecturing processes (2 scientific assistants, 55 researchers – assistants, 58 researchers – junior assistants, and 61 project assistants). Non-lecturing staff At the Faculty of Technical Sciences, there are 250 employees working as non-lecturing staff |
