Course is active from 28.11.2018.. Enabling the students to explore many contextual relationships in architectural structures and urban spaces. Analyzing the natural, physical, urban, program, social, cultural, technological ... and many other layers and levels of context in cities. Students should be trained to recognizing contextual influences and forces, their adequate understanding and interpretation, as well as for applying a sensible approach to the context in future city research and design tasks. Research of contextual relationships at the level of urban structures, architectural design, vaporization and interpretation of architectural heritage, as well as the study of extensive literature related to the topic of mutual relations and in cities. The theme of context in cities is one of the most interesting and difficult areas when it comes to searching for their urbanity and identity, so it has to be explored on numerous examples that are realized in different parts of Europe and the world, in different cultural and temporal periods and places.
