Course is active from 01.10.2007.. Acquiring knowledge in the field of management of construction companies. Ability to apply acquired knowledge in the processes of management of construction companies. The acquired knowledge can be directly applied in engineering practice. The company as a system of business and the basis of organizational models of the company. Getting acquainted with the basic terminology in the field. Fundamentals of defining the mission, goals and policy of company. The interaction of the company and the environment in which it operates. The development of knowledge and culture of company and business. Fundamentals of managing work processes within a company. Lectures, auditory exercises, research papers and consultations. The lectures present theoretical part of the teaching in the form of presentations of individual method units followed by appropriate examples from practice, for easier understanding and convaying of the knowledge. On auditory exercises, lectures with more active participation of students are discussed in more detail. In addition to lectures and exercises, consultations are also held regularly. The student, on the basis of the obtained information (lectures, literature, consultations and general instructions at the beginning of the exercise), solves the assigned tasks and makes research papers. Written and positively assessed seminars are the condition for entering the exam. The exam covers the entire material presented during the semester and is taken orally. Grade is formed based on the attendance of lectures and exercises, evaluation of research papers and oral exam.
