Course is active from 01.10.2014.. Introducing students with architecture as a set of creative practices, as well as different theoretical concepts of architecture. Acquiring basic knowledge about principles, procedures and tools applied in architectural planning and design. Ability of students to understand architecture as a complex area of articulation of existential space. Ability to understand the structure of the space: dimensions, proportions, scale. Knowledge and ability to apply basic tools and techniques in thinking, designing and presenting architectural space. The concept and definitions of architecture. Architecture as a morphological structure. The outcomes of architecture in contemporary creative practices. Architecture as an articulation process of existential space. Basic approaches to scheduling, planning and design in architecture. Basic principles and architectural design techniques. Presentation, perception and reception of the architectural work. Lectures, practices, workshops.
