Course is active from 01.10.2010.. The Competitive Management course is designed to acquire basic knowledge in the field of competitiveness at different levels of focus. Given that the analysis of all economic entities (companies and individuals from the countries themselves) relies heavily on comparisons with other related entities, it can be said that today the world economic system presents something that might be called comparative economics as a separate branch of economic science with great application in practice. In the world there are daily formed a number of different indicators, which monitor various aspects of the competitiveness of an economy, and their understanding, monitoring and control is exactly an educational objective of this course. Upon completion of the course, students will better understand the importance of measuring and monitoring competitiveness, as well as the importance of its continuous improvement. European global strategies. Scenario analysis. Impact of globalization. National competitiveness. Regional competitiveness. Sectoral competitiveness. The role of knowledge in increasing competitiveness. Competitiveness indices. Analysis of current competitiveness index by position R. Serbia and the Western Balkans. Practical classes. The combination of interactive and traditional approaches of teaching. Students are encouraged to participate active in teaching, ask questions and give comments.
