Course is active from 25.07.2017.. Acquiring knowledge of the management of occupational health and safety (OHS) risks for construction works. Ability to identify risks of OHS, quantify OHS risks and plan corrective measures in the execution of construction works. The acquired knowledge can be directly applied in engineering practice. Introduction to the application of risk management methods in the field of OHS, depending on the adopted building technology. General on the methods of managing the OHS risks and applying them during the planning and realization of construction works. Analysis of the construction process from the aspect of identification and quantification of the OHS risks and development of an occupational health and safety risk management plan. Lectures, auditory exercises, research papers and consultations. The lectures present theoretical part of the teaching in the form of presentations of individual method units followed by appropriate examples from practice, for easier understanding and convaying of the knowledge. On auditory exercises, lectures with more active participation of students are discussed in more detail. In addition to lectures and exercises, consultations are also held regularly. The student, on the basis of the obtained information (lectures, literature, consultations and general instructions at the beginning of the exercise), solves the assigned tasks and makes research papers. Written and positively assessed seminars are the condition for entering the exam. The exam covers the entire material presented during the semester and is taken orally. Grade is formed based on the attendance of lectures and exercises, evaluation of research papers and oral exam.
