Course specification
Course is active from 16.08.2017.. Precondition courses
The objective of the course is to teach the students to design, simulate and implement advanced electronic systems, and to learn the characteristics of specialized electronic circuits. Student who successfully completes the course will be able to perform the following tasks:
- Design low-noise precision amplifiers. - Design circuits with high resolution A / D converters. - Design devices with minimized external noise influence. - Design a mixed (analog and digital) electronic system. - Design a high-current switching circuits. - Design a low-power circuit
Inherent noise sources (thermal noise, shot noise, flicker noise, burst noise, intermodulation noise). Calculation, measurement and minimization of inherent noise. Overview of modern passive and active discrete components. Low noise precision amplifiers, high resolution A/D converters. Characteristics that affect the accuracy of A/D converters - interference noise sources (crosstalk, coupling, jitter). Methods for reduction of interference noise - optimal design of the schematic, pcb design, cabling and shielding. Design a mixed (analog and digital) electronic system, layout design. Power electronics circuit: problems in designing high-voltage switching circuits. Switching power supply - minimization of interference, efficiency. Design of digital electronic circuits. Design of electronic circuits at high frequencies (impedance of lines, transmission lines, termination of lines ...). Design of low power system Lectures. Auditory and laboratory Practice. Consultations.
