Developing ability to implement knowledge, experience and approaches defined in the research process into the concrete project task. Developing ability to work independently on the projects in the field of scene architecture, techniques and design, as well as ability to work in a team projects in this field.

Students’ ability to implement independently knowledge and experience from different problem areas that belong to scene architecture, technique and design, with the special focus on reflection and design of scene architecture and spaces. Ability to organise and implement an independent creative process. Ability to recognise the need for cooperation with experts and artists from different fields that are relevant for scene architecture, technique and design, as well as ability to cooperate with them – as a support in the individual work, or member in the collective creative work.

Defining of narrow theme of the diploma project – the title of scene architecture or performing space that is the project subject. Creating programme structure of the scene building or space. Production of basic spatial concept. Working on the concept. Defining of spatial solution. Defining solution for the physical structure in correlation with the set of functions of the subject building or space. Developing content and producing the final project elaborate in electronic format. Creation and production of posters that represent the project, as well as creative process. Defence of the project before the commission.

Independent creative work of a student under the mentorship. Using different methods and techniques, in accordance with the theme of diploma project (sketches, collages, models, drawings, 3D models, modelling in virtual space etc.). Regular consultations with the mentor. Preparation for oral presentation and defence of diploma project.
