Course specification
Course is active from 22.10.2012.. The objective of the course is to teach the students design and development of embedded systems software.
Student who successfully completes the course will be able to perform the following engineering tasks:
- Analyze the specification of embedded software and understand the interaction of the embedded system with its environment and with the user.
- Apply contemporary methods of modeling, design, testing and implementation of embedded software.
- Apply contemporary software tools for design and implementation of embedded software.
- Design and implement embedded software for a specified embedded system.
Modeling of embedded systems. Specification and modeling of embedded software and interaction of the system with its environment and with the user. Methods of modeling, testing, and implementation of embedded software. Real time programming languages. Software development for systems with limited hardware resources. Contemporary software tools for design and implementation of embedded software. Software design and development based on embedded system specification. Lectures, auditory exercises, laboratory exercises, consultations.
