Course is active from 01.10.2009.. This course provides students with fundamental knowledge of designing industrial electrical power distribution. After completing the course, the students are expected to: 1. Understand the specific requirements and technical principles of industrial electric power distribution systems. 2. Size power cables and select their protection devices, including power distribution equipment for industry, inside low voltage distribution. 3. Design reactive power compensation systems. 4. Know protective measures against electric shock. 5. Know technical regulation in electric power industry. Technical regulation, standards and guidelines. Industrial network configuration.
