Course specification
Course is active from 01.01.2007.. The student of the academic studies is acquainted with the up-to-date trends of power drive development. The student becomes familiar with the tools for modeling and simulation of the operation of the complete control system within a single drive. After completing the course, the student is familiar with the up-to-date trends of power drive development. They have become acquainted with a large scope of literature in the chosen field, and one of the drives belonging to the department is operated to acquire the wanted experimental results. The student is able to solve ongoing problems in the power drive field. Introduction. The classification of power drives. 1) Power drives with the asynchronous motor (AM). 1a) MATLAB-Simulink model of a vector-regulated drive with the AM and position sensor. 1b) Synthesis of the digital power, speed and position regulator. 1c) Analysis of the sensitivity of drive operation with regard to parameter change. 1d) Matlab-Simulink model of the vector-regulated drive with the AM without the position sensor (MRAC and SMO estimators of speed and position), 1e) The vector-regulated drive with the AM with and without the position sensor and the on-line estimation of parameters carried out in the programming language C at TI DSP 320F2812. 2) Electromotor drive with the synchronous motor (SM). 2a) Matlab-Simulink model of the vector-regulated drive with the SM and position sensor 2b) Matlab-Simulink model of the vector-regulated drive with the AM without the position sensor (SMO and one of the methods based on the imbedded test signal) 2c) Analysis of the sensitivity of SM operation of the shaft-sensorless drive with regard to parameter change. 2d) The vector-regulated drive with the SM with and without the position sensor and the on-line estimation of parameters carried out in the programming language C at TI DSP 320F2812 Laboratory Practice, Lectures, Tutorial Work
