Course is active from 30.01.2018.. Students learn specifics of DSP platforms and how to implement algorithms on DSP based systems. Ability to develop, implement, debug, profile and test algorithm for digital signal processing on simulator as well as on hardware platform. Introduction to DSP. DSP architectures (Von Neumann, Harvard, RISC, DSP, pipeline) DSP resources: ALU, MAC, memory, interfaces. Data format. DSP software, tools, integrated environments. Debugging and testing tools, testing methodology.
DSP programing: real-time softer, programming languages (C and ASM), tools, operating systems, frameworks, simulator and platforms, software optimisations.
Lectures, tutorials, computer practice classes, consultations. Project. During the semester students complete laboratory practice tasks
