Adopting language functions, such as comparison, classification, expressing purpose or function, describing components, causal relations, and the like. The most common prefixes, suffixes, compounds and collocations. Passive, participles. Reduced relative clauses (active and passive). Genres: CV, cover letter, resume, criticism. Successful written communication. Students will learn to write their CV and cover letter. Likewise, they will be able to write a theater or literary criticism, as well as the abstract and summaries of their own work. Theoretical approach to writing in academic communication. Writing a CV, cover letter, abstract, summary, literary and theater criticism. Theoretical framework and practical examples of academic writing. Comments on the fundamental structure and terminology. Writing tasks and their analysis.
