GI514) Basic Information
Course specification
Course is active from 01.01.2007.. To acquire basic and applied knowledge in the field of Geodesy, Geomatics and Geoinformatics. To acquire basic and applied knowledge in the field of Engineering Geodesy. Acquired knowledge is used in professional courses, as well as in the recognition and in solving the engineering problems. Lecture content: - • Local geodetic networks in engineering (phase of implementation, types, problems of datum defining , quality criteria). • Sensitivity of geodetic networks. Calculation of the minimal detectable deformation. • Testing of hypotheses about the verticality of the buildings. • Hydraulic structures (divisions, features of dams, geodetic network). • Tunnel (accuracy of tunnel breakthrough). • Optimizing of the design of geodetic networks. • Dynamic setting-out of engineering structures. • Development of a GIS-spatial entities for the purpose of energy efficiency. Application of InSAR method in determining of deformation. Practice content: Practical application of presented concepts from lectures. Prerequisites: obligatory tasks, during the teaching process. Examination: Knowledge evaluation: guided and individual elaboration of obligatory tasks; Final examination – The written examination - theory and tasks 50%.
