Course is active from 19.07.2017.. Introducing students with modern industrial sensors and applying advanced information technologies for controlling complex industrial processes. Acquiring advanced knowledge of programmable logic controllers designed for work in an industrial environment as well as advanced data exchange methods within industrial systems. 1) Knowledge of industrial measuring devices 2) Good knowledge of the operation of a programmable logic controller, its place and role in complex industrial processes 3) Good knowledge of advanced industrial communication protocols, 4) Introduction to the basic principles of connecting devices to the SCADA system. Modern industrial sensors. Programmable logic controllers - advanced programming principles. Modules for supporting modern information technologies. Advanced industrial communication protocols of lower order (asynchronous and synchronous data transfer). Advanced industrial communication protocols of higher order (MODBUS, PROFIBUS, PROFINET). Networking PLC controllers and other equipment. Communication with sensors and actuators (examples of communication with frequency regulator, electrical parameters meter).
