Processes and methodologies of art and its achievements through historical periods in chronological order. The student acquires knowledge about the implementation of the idea in art, as well as the relation between the reciprocity of the artwork and the time in which it arises. Through artworks of particular periods in history, a student gets a wider picture of certain periods of history, and at the same time he approaches a picture of the complete life of a man and his perception of the environment in which he lives. The student acquires knowledge about various aspects of human aspirations in relation to art. The effects that art receives and presents from different sociological, religious and historical circumstances are identified.
The course trains students what is art by the periods and styles that make up this term. The student learns about the constant variations of the goals of art through time and significance and the legacy of certain periods of art in our time. The processes and methodology of the development of individual artistic periods in history are studied through identified categories of activities. Through architecture, sculpture and painting, a student acquires knowledge about the reach of man's craft process. The student learns how to recognize certain periods of art, their relationships, and encourage them to understand the artist's intentions by independent judgment.
The course defines the most important periods in the history of art and the changes that these directions have determined. In the course of the course, the breakthroughs in the history of art development are studied with an emphasis on the designation of certain social ideologies in lectures dealing with old cultures before the new era. Art categories of architecture, painting and sculpture are studied within each artistic period. In the framework of lectures on art of the twentieth century, studying categories of artistic installation and concept. In the course of the course, the changes in the nature of art that occur each subsequent period in its history are explained. Lectures are presented in the form of a PDF presentation with numerous reproductions of works of art and video attachments. The pre-examination obligations include two graphic works that are carried out during the exercises. At the exercises students are introduced to the visual elements and principles of composing through the work in the image processing program. Students acquire acquired knowledge about the relationships of elements within composition, contrast and unity, color, texture, direction and size during the preparation of graphic tasks for this subject as well as on other objects dealing with graphic design.
