Course specification
Course is active from 01.10.2005.. Enabling students for abstract thinking, generalization and acquisition of mathematical knowledge for technical application. The student is able to apply mathematical models in professional courses. Complex numbers. Determinants and systems of linear equations (Cramer`s rule, Gauss algorithm). Vector algebra in space R3, line, plane. Matrices (operations, inverse matrix). Polynomials and rational functions. Number sequences, functions of one variable (boundary values, continuity, differential calculus and application). Lectures and practice are auditory with calculation. Partial examinations (colloquia) are taken after bigger chapters.
