Introduction to the methods of starting the new business in the field of information-communication technologies. - ability to make a successful business model - ability to successfully establish and manage personally owned business - Entrepreneurship, definition, types, stiles, entrepreneurial personalities. · basic principles of economy · money, and why there is much more of it than needed; how and why this surplus is channeled into innovations · Types of innovation, how they are funded · The importance of the entrepreneurial team, characteristics of team members · formation of teams of 4 members out of students attending the course · projection of the information & communication technology development in the next 10 years - creative problem solving · features of the business establishment in the field of dynamic development relying on the big investments and innovation - market research for new products - business model structure and its constituent elements (Resume, Technology Description, Business description, Market analysis, Competition analysis, Business strategy, Business process, Marketing plan, Action plan, Financial plan, Risks and ways for overcoming them) - practical advice for newly established business management in the field of information & communication technologies The lectures are continuously followed by synchronized exercises and analysis of homeworks. Through the teaching process, students are constantly motivated to an intensive discussion, problem oriented reasoning, independent and team work and active participation in the whole lecturing process. The prerequisite to enter the final exam is to complete the all the pre-exam assignments. and the exam consists of defending the final presentation in teams.
