Course specification
Course is active from 01.10.2013.. The aim and purpose of the course is to enable students to identify and determine the level of risk, and to define actions aimed at reducing / eliminating risk. After completing and passing the exam, students will be able to analyze a specific process (problem) and to define the existing risks, to determine the probability of occurrence of observed events and define actions for the reduction / elimination of risk. Evolution, Frames and capabilities, standards, theory, identification and risk assessment, risk indicators and escalators, risk reduction program, Fault tree analysis - event Application of Monte-Carlo simulation, Markov Processes. The program consists of two parts. The first part covers the theoretical issues, while the second part includes auditory and computational exercises where students apply the mathematical apparatus in order to determine the reliability of the observed elements / systems. And during school hours and during exercise using a laptop and projector beam, because of the need vivid and more accurate representation of key elements of the teaching units. Where possible, Excel with prepared data and charts will be used, to perform simulation.
