Acquiring the necessary knowledge of technological processes that are used in the preparation (treatment) of drinking and water purification (treatment) of wastewater. Basic knowledge of chemical reactions and reaction kinetics. Basic knowledge of reactor technology. Knowledge of basic biological processes. Understanding and knowledge of processes used in water treatment and wastewater treatment. Theoretical study of chemical reactions and reaction kinetics. Analysis of the reactor. Separation and mass transfer. Chemical oxidation and reduction. Coagulation and flocculation. Gravitational settling. Flotation. Filtration through granular media. Membrane separation.
