Course is active from 01.10.2012.. Introduction to the basic elements of the natural, socio - economic and legal environment and how they can influence the mechanisms of river basin management Upon completion of the course content and learning student should have developed the ability to solve scientific and research tasks and problems in the river basin management Presentation of prediction methods for water quality, provides a realistic assessment of the errors of anticipation and consequently increases the efficiency of river basin management and enables better implementation of the Water Framework Directive of the European Union. Decision-making in river basin management approach is based on realistic security framework to measure and improve quality and limit values ??for the corresponding priority pollutants. Integrated management of river basins is one of the biggest challenges of the XXI century. The term integrated refers to a variety of aspects that are critical in achieving the goals of sustainable development of the river basin, including water requirements and water consumption, cross-border aspects, loss of water, the twin aspects - water and environment, development and the environment (population growth , poverty ...), as well as organizational and institutional aspects of different scales. Classes will be realized in the form of lectures, exercises and seminar work. In addition to lectures and exercises consultations are held regularly . Term papers are made by groups designated by the subject's teacher, while presentation of research paper is in terms of auditory exercises. Each test consists of a theoretical and computational work that can be put down in writing during the semester of instruction. Students who did not pass the exam must take the tests over the entire final exam.
