Educating and enabling students for digital image design and editing. To apply acquired knowledge in further educational process as well as in the future professional work. Introduction, definition and clarification of the basic concepts. Characteristics and development of digital images. Types of digital files, raster and vector images. Tones and colors. Image composition. Cameras, camera components and parameters. Comparison of camera parameters and parameters of the virtual camera. Light metering. Image lightness and aperture, exposure and sensor sensitivity. Brightness and properties of light that affect the photograph.
Tools for modification, adaptation and correction of digital images. Photo editing. Advanced techniques for digital image editing. Changing characteristics and composition of digital images. Digital images in animation. Lectures and Practice in the computer laboratory. Consultations.
The course grade is formed based on the examination prerequisites (course projects and lecture and practice attendance) and success at the final examination. In order to be able to take the final examination, the student must fulfill at least 30% of examination prerequisites.
