Course is active from 01.10.2013.. Aim of the course is that students acquire theoretical and concrete knowledge about use of technology in the function of scene design, ability to participate in teamwork on creating artwork in the field of scene design, and realization by using complex technological means. After finishing course student is expected to understand contemporary situation in the field of technology in scene design and knowledge of technical and art component of scenic technology. It is included that is necessary to built ability of participation in teamwork, as well as ability for creating and leading team. Student is expected to have built personal views, ability to present them, argument and problematize verbally, as well as ability for practical use of these knowledge in new or unknown environment. Course is directed toward studying "classical" and "contemporary" technology in the field of scene design, which includes a wide range of different technical means subordinated to the same aims: expressive means of the spectacle on the stage, visibility, audibility, simplicity organization of scenic event, feasibility in given space. Special attention is given to criteria and principles in creating team, task assignment, establishing and quality control, as well as safety and security issues. Lectures with demonstrations in given topics; Discussions in the lectures and workshops; Preparations of shorter exposures by students in the workshops; Writing a term work (setting a theme, collecting literature, analysis of the literature, conception of a structure, realization of the work, oral exposure of the work).
