Course is active from 29.10.2019.. The goal of this course is to obtain advanced knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and systems. Learn the latest symmetric and asymmetric algorithms. Overview of modern one-way functions. Comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the discussed algorithms. Setting up a secure communication channel, session key creation and perfect forward secrecy. Discussion of advanced techniques in signing digital content. Introduction to quantum cryptography and homomorphic cryptography. Familiarity with advanced cryptographic systems, algorithms and techniques. Knowledge of relevant standards and specifications in the field of cryptography. Capability to analyse system architectures and select appropriate cryptographic techniques in solving engineering problems in the field of critical infrastructure protection.
