Course specification
Course is active from 09.10.2012.. Enabling students to develop abstract thinking and acquire basic knowledge in the field mathematical analysis. Ability to use the acquired knowledge in further education in engineering subjects so as to postulate and solve mathematical models in the field of engineering sciences. Theoretical lectures:Indefinite integral; definite integral and application; improper integral. Ordinary differential equations of first and higher order. Linear differential equations of n-th order. Series, functional sequence and functional series, power series, Fourier series. Double, curved-line integral. Complex analysis: Cauchy theorems and formulas Laurent series, singularities , residues. Fourier series and transformation. Laplace transform and inverse Laplace transform and application. Practice (Exercises): Corresponding examples from theoretical lectures are done in exercises, thus practicing the taught lectures and understanding them better. Lectures; Numerical calculation practice. Consultations.
