Course is active from 01.10.2017.. The theoretical bases of the doctoral dissertation assess the ability of PhD students for independent scientific research work and aims: to motivate students to present and synthesize theoretical and research work, to determine the creative potential of students for continuing studies, to determine the students ability to understand and apply the fundamental science concepts, to test the students speech abilities and the ability to express their ideas clearly and to identify the areas of science that need to be extracted by the candidate as the necessary basis for the preparation of the doctoral dissertation. Enabling students to achieve scientific competencies and academic skills, development of creative abilities, as well as mastering of specific practical skills from the topic of doctoral dissertation. Enabling students to independently solve theoretical and practical problems, to understand and to use contemporary knowledge, the ability to follow contemporary achievements, independent and creative action, connecting knowledge from various fields and its application, solving problems using scientific methods, performing numerical simulations and experimental research, presentation and discussion of research results, communication at the professional level in writing and presenting scientific research results. During the process, the mentor can give additional instructions to the student, refer him to specific literature and further guide him, in order to create quality work. The student conducts consultations with the mentor and the subjects teachers, and if necessary with other teachers dealing with problems in the field of doctoral dissertation topic. Within a given topic, student, if necessary, performs certain measurements, carries out numerical simulations and experimental research, presents and discusses the results of the research, if this is foreseen by the work topic.
