Course is active from 01.10.2013.. Introducing students to the basic concepts of leadership, its importance for the work of the organization and leadership development opportunities abilities and skills. Practical exercises in the teaching work will focus on identifying the characteristics of leadership behavior to establish abilities and skills necessary for leadership. Possessing the knowledge and skills necessary for leadership communication with followers, as well as the principles relating to the impact of leaders on followers, the behaviors that contribute to a successful leader's communication in the organization and the conditions in which the communication leaders and followers into the successful functioning of the organization. Creating the conditions for personal development and self management, in order to organizational behavior could manage employees. The course masters the skills of decision making, time management, and situation, as well as knowledge about the social and technical conditions that contribute to quality leadership. The concept and role of the leader (defining terms leader and leadership); Concept and types of changes in the organization, leadership as a process of change; Theoretical foundations of leadership and change and changes in organizational structure, organizational culture and change; Personality traits of leaders; Motivation for Change; Leadership and communication with co-workers; Reduction of conflicts, creation of a learning organization, management and conduct of the leaders of change, impact-power leader; Leadership and change in team work, self management; Successful leaders in the change process. Teaching activity is carried out interactively through a range of assignments and various personality tests that influence the development of leadership features. Besides the theoretical framework which is presented as recognition of useful knowledge about contemporary leadership approaches, students do applied tasks in order to simulate problem situations in the teaching activity, practice most important aspects of analyzing real situation in the environment and organization they visit. Guest speakers from companies deliver lectures, and students visit companies that are in leadership positions.
