The students are introduced to all power electronics devices design and manufacturing stages. They become proficient at software tools and calculation procedures necessary for the industrial converter development. Additionally, students are familiarized with the hardware/software interconnections.
Student are capable to independetly design, manufacture, assemble and test the power electronics devices. Furthermore, the students acquire laboratory work knowledge necessary for the production and testing of the designed converter.
Converter dimensioning. Semiconductor devices selection. Excitation circuitry selection. Schematic diagram development training. Drawing of the schematic in the selected software tool. Printed circuit board drawing. Laboratory equipment usage. Printed circuit board fabrication. Converter assembly. Converter testing.
