Course specification
Course is active from 10.10.2005.. Acquiring basic knowledge in the field of electromechanical energy conversion, electric machines, tarnsformers. DC current machines. - ability to understand basic principles of electromechanical energy conversion -ability to understand basic properties and operation methods of rotary machines -ability to understand basic properties and operation methods of transformers Electric machines with DC. DC machines according to the excitation power. Parts and design, commutation, application, properties, movement, speed control.
Evaluation and assessment of the general properties of electrical machines. Resistance of winding. Properties of insulation. Determination of speed and moment. Estimation and properties of losses. The course consists of lectures and practice. In lectures, contemporary illustrations for intuitive understanding of the taught matter are used. In order to completely master the taught matter, problems are solved in practice, which helps students to independently solve problems from engineering practice. Part of the practice is carried out in the laboratory.
