Course is active from 21.08.2017.. Knowledge acquisition for application of coordinate measurement, reverse engineering modeling and CAQ system. Capability to apply KMM and interpretation of results, ability to model by reverse engineering and capability to apply CAQ system. Architecture of CMM. Programming CMM. Evaluation of measurement results. Integration of CMM into different technological structures. Accuracy and testing of CMM. The role of measuring machines in the six sigma concept. The role and importance of reverse engineering in integrated design and manufacturing. Methodology of reverse engineering. 3D digitization - concept and methods. Pre-processing of 3D digitization results (filtering, balancing, reducing, segmenting and registering data points). Reconstruction of the surface - generation of CAD models. General Quality Management Settings - CAQ Systems. Control and management of processes supported by a computer. Quality supported by the computer. System components and CIM. Control of geometric product specifications. 3D-digitization in inspection. CAD inspection. Teaching is conducted interactively in the form of lectures, laboratory and computer exercises. In the lectures the theoretical part of the material is presented, accompanied by characteristic examples for easier understanding of the material. Laboratory and computer exercises comprise practical application of the acquired knowledge with the available laboratory equipment and information-communication systems and software. In addition to lectures and exercises, consultations are also held regularly.
