Course specification
Course is active from 01.10.2009.. Acquiring of basic knowledge from the energy with special stress to the electric energy. Position of the electricity in the power energy mix. The basic orientation in the power engineering (DC or AC, single phase or three-phase electric energy, frequency and voltages). Basic structure of power systems. Central position of the electric energy in the contemporary energy mix. The ability of students for sequence domain modeling the basic three-phase elements of power systems (consumers, lines, transformers, AC machines) in sinusoidal, three-phase symmetrical steady-states. The ability of students for solving simple exercises of three-phase power systems, using basic model of three-phase elements. Fundamentals of energy with special stress to the electricity. Fundamentals of power engineering: historical development, fundamentals of three- phase power systems. Basic elements of power systems: consumers, lines, transformers, AC machines. Lectures; Auditory Practice; Consultations.
