Course is active from 01.10.2013.. The course aims to provide general knowledge and specific skills for understanding the importance, principles and procedures of investing in company as well as planning, organizing, leading and controlling investment projects. Students acquire general knowledge and specific skills which makes them more competent in preparation of feasibility studies, business plans and other forms of investment projects. Changes in the development of the world, changes in the society, changes in the processes of planning and investment; Preliminary design of concrete investment; available capacity of markets, materials, technology, organization and human resources; Features of location, development of technical and technological options, and feasibility studies, economic and financial options; selection variants; The main, detailed project of selected variants; management of concrete investment project. Teaching activity includes: Lectures, practical examples, analysis of investment projects; auditory exercises for developing examples of methods and techniques; preparation of seminar paper which is student`s independent work – processing a practical case of investment project. Seminar paper should be written during exercises or after classes, and its value is equal to the practical part of the exam - assignment (worth the same number of points and students who do and defend seminar paper are not required to take the practical part of the examination on the final exam.
