Course is active from 01.10.2013.. Aim of the preparation, realisation, public display and public defense of the master work is for student to articulate, present and defend individual art work in the area of scene architecture and design, including theoretical and research suppositions on which the work is based. Students ability for individual theoretical research, creative application of research results to forming personal theoretical discourse, ability for independent organisation and realisation of artistic research, as well as application of the research results to individual artistic approach. Ability for independent preparation and realisation of a complex art work. Ability to conceive and organise display of individual art work, ability to argument and defend theoretical principles and ideas, as well as artistic approaches and results. Scene architecture, Scene design, Scene technique and technology. Design of architectural, performing and virtual space. Theory and criticism of scene design. Master work is original, realised or publically displayed art work, in the aea of scene architecture and design. Art work has to be accompanied by textual explanation of the work consisting of presentation of theoretical basis, reference examples for the literature, as well as national and international theory and practice, presentation of artistic-research process, detailed presentation of the preparation and realisation of the art work, as well as perception and reception of the art work by the public. Art work in the area of scene architecture and design may be an event, space intervention, artistic installation, multimedia art work or any other appropriate artistic format in the area of scene architecture and design. Mentor, to the candidate`s proposal, defines an assignment proposition for the realisation of the artistic master work, while Study programme Council accepts and verifies the proposal.
