Course specification
Course is active from 01.10.2009.. Enabling students for abstract thinking and acquisition of new knowledge in Algebra and Mathematical Analysis. Acquired knowledge is used in further education and in professional courses by making and solving mathematical models in professional courses using the knowledge in Algebra and Mathematical analysis. Combinatory and graph theory. Series. Real functions of one variable-limits, continuously, differential calculus and applications. Functions of two variables-differential calculus and applications. Indefinite integrals. Definite integrals and applications. Ordinary differential equations of first order. Lectures; Numerical – computer Practice. Consultations. Lectures are combined. Theoretical part is followed by adequate examples which contribute to the clarification of the theoretical part. Computer practice accompanies lectures, and typical problems are solved and lectured knowledge is deepened. Besides lectures and practice, consultations are held on the regular basis.
