The objective of the course is to effectively make business decisions in conditions of uncertainty and risk, using methods and techniques of multi-criteria and / or multi-point decision making. Understanding the decision making process as the most important task for managers to make good business decisions. Understanding the limitations that arise when deciding. Mastering motodes, techniques and software tools for decision making. Mastering decision support methods based on available company data and implementation of decisions made in a real environment. The concept and definition of decision-making. Decision making styles. Defining the types of decision-making. Decision theory. Decision-maker and his preferences. The problem of rationality in decision making. Unbounded and bounded rationality. Deciding factors. Stages in the decision-making process. The circumstances in which decisions are made. Decision-making under uncertainty (fuzzy systems and sets). Decision-making under risk. Models and decision-making techniques. Analysis of decision-making with and without sampling. Multiattribute decision. Multicriteria analysis methods: VIKOR, ELECTRA, PROMETHEE, AHP. Expert systems in decision making. Doctus expert system for decision support. Decision support software (SPO). DecisionLab, Expert Choice Lectures are auditory, while the work on exercises is carried out partly auditory in the working groups of three students with the aim of solving decision problems, and partly in the computer lab with required software for the use of decision-making: Expert Choice, and Doctus DecisionLab.
