Laslo Tarjan graduated at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia, at the Mechatronics, robotics and automation study program (integrated MSc + BSc studies) in 2008, on the topic of "Manipulator with Pneumatic and Electric Conduction of Axis". He earned his PhD in Mechatronics at the same institution in 2015 on the topic of "Increasing efficiency of linear actuators by applying FPGA based control". In 2008 he became affiliated with the Faculty of Technical Sciences, where he is now affiliated as an Associate Professor. He takes part in the following courses: Management of technical systems, Fundamentals of managing technical systems, Automation of continuous processes, Motion Control, Rehabilitation devices and systems, Application of sensors and actuators, Sensors and actuators in medicine.
His main research interests include applications in industrial and non industrial automation, Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks, smart sensor design, embedded devices (hardware and software), objects and services related to Industrial Internet of Things and Industry 4.0 and application of Machine Learning.
