Widening of knowledge about motor vehicle design and vehicle dynamics, education in area of vehicle technical and exploitation characteristics as well as procedures of vehicle design processes. Ability to solve engineering problems in area of motor vehicles, to use technical documentation and make conceptual vehicle design, to make decision about vehicle's design parameters and to implement law regulations regarding road vehicles. Classification of motor vehicles based on technical and exploitation characteristics. Technical conditions and regulative relevant for safety, design and exploitation of vehicles. Vehicle identification. Maintenance and technical inspection of motor vehicles. Introduction in passenger cars and commercial vehicle design processes. Example of design process of commercial motor vehicle based on main subsystems selection (engine, transmission, chassis systems and body). Analysis of mass and geometrical parameters of a vehicle in design stage. Motorcycles (typical subsystems, fundamentals of motorcycle dynamics). Introduction in motor vehicle forensics. Lectures, auditory practice, laboratory practice, consultations.
