Knowledge about the procedures for analysis and processing of signals. Application of those procedures in communication systems.
- Communication system model. Information and measure of the amount of information. - Definition, properties and classification of signals. Analysis of analog and discrete signals. - Systems for signal transmission. Linear, nonlinear and complex systems. - Signal selection. Quantization and coding.
